Cheesy Sticks

A Quick Lamb Burger Recipe

It’s been so hot lately and all I can think of after coming back from the office is how little time in the kitchen I’d like to spend cooking. Today I’d like to share my favourite 20 minutes lamb burger recipe which has been a life saver and is absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

Burger

Parsley
Cheese
1 garlic clove
Minced lamb
Brioche buns
2 Tbsp Water
Breadcrumbs
Salt & Pepper
1/2 Chilli (optional)
Italian Herb Seasoning

Sides (optional)

Salad Rocket Leaves
8 Seeded Mozzarella Sticks Frozen

Preheat the oven to 200 °C

First add chopped parsley, chilli, breadcrumbs, crushed garlic, water, salt & pepper, dried Italian seasoning and mix together in a bowl. Add the minced lamb and combine the ingredients together forming burgers that are about 2cm thick.

Heat a drizzle of oil in a frying pan on medium to high heat. Once it’s hot enough, fry your burgers, flipping them every 4 mins for about 12-14 in total. If they start to burn, lower the heat. In the last 2 minutes of cooking your burger add cheese so it melts onto it.

While the burgers are cooking, pop the seeded mozzarella sticks to add even more cheese to this meal! Pop your brioche buns into the oven to warm them up in the last few minutes.

Serve on a bed of salad, you can use sauces to create your burger. Personally the flavour from the burger was enough for us.

The seeded cheese sticks were flavoursome – I loved how stringy the mozzarella was! I’d definitely advise leaving the mozzarella sticks in the oven for longer to get a crispier bite! It’s one of the best frozen supermarket cheese sticks I’ve tried, I highly recommend if you fancy a cheesy snack! The lamb burger was juicy and packed full of flavour. There was a slight kick from the fresh chilli (of course add as much or as little chilli as you like), it will still be as a good without the chilli too.

This is a quick and easy dinner recipe that will take 20 minutes to make. I hope you all enjoy it!
