Panda Sweets Box

Panda Sweets Pick N Mix Review

As many of you know, I love sweets so when Panda Sweets contacted me about reviewing their Pick N Mix box I was over the moon! Sweets heaven!… I use to always have a cup of Pick N Mix as a treat at the cinemas when I was younger! It was one of my favourite childhood treats and still is as I couldn’t wait for Panda Sweets Pick N Mix to arrive.

Panda Sweets is an online traditional sweet shop which has an incredible range of retro sweets – boiled sweets, jelly sweets, sherbet, marshmallow, toffee, fudge, liquorice and everything in between, with over 600 varieties of sweets in stock!

It really does bring the sweet shop right to your doorstep. I was impressed by their website, very easy to manoeuvre; I love how organised it is – they have a colour coordination tab where you could select which flavours you’d like by colour for example all the blue sweets were altogether and yellow ones… and so on. There is a tab for dietary requirements too – vegan sweets, dairy free, gluten free, halal, soya free, sugar free and vegetarian.

They design and produce their own selection of sweet gifts – boxes, sweet jars, cubes and retro hampers. These are made for any occasion throughout the year such as birthdays, weddings, corporate gifts or Christmas.

Our Pick N Mix box contained jelly sweets, chewy sweets, fizzy sweets, chocolate and marshmallows. I was surprised by how heavy it was I didn’t expect so much from the packet, it was literally stuffed to the brim – 1kg worth of assorted sweets. Without having to open the packet you can smell the sweets through the packet, it was a comforting smell. The sweets were sealed in a see-through packet within the brown box. I personally thought it would have been good if the packet had a zipper to re-seal the sweets back up- the packet was ginormous, it would be hard to finish a packet like this on your own, although I’m sure some of us may manage it! When I emptied the packet into the box, the sweets had almost reached the top of the box!

The gummy sweets were definitely my favourite and I had eaten most of the packet, especially now I’m working from home it’s my 3pm treat of the day. Every weekend Claire and I would pick a movie to watch, last weekend it was Mulan! It was brilliant being able to enjoy the movie and to have some sweets to enjoy it with! It definitely bought back the good old times!

This is a great idea to gift someone who loves sweets- I loved sharing mine with friends and family!

If you have any dietary requirements Panda Sweets are always happy to advise with allergies or special dietary needs.

We have been given a 15% off code so if you fancy some retro sweets use my code at checkout WINCEATS this will able you to get anything off their website! The code ends 28th February 2021.

We also received a chocolate panda lolly with our box, which I thought was a sweet touch. This 1kg Pick N Mix Box is £7.49, check out how you can purchase your own via their website! I strongly recommend trying their mouthwatering sweets!

  1. I am a huge fan of pick n mix, it used to be such a treat when I went to the cinema, but I love this idea of getting it to enjoy at home while watching a movie x

  2. I love that these are delivered to the door. Looks like there’s a great variety there. It reminds me of the old fashioned pick ‘n mix I used to buy on the way home from school.
