Galentines Day Ideas!

Galentines is fast approaching, what will you be doing with your (gal) friends?

I’d love to offer some restaurant recommendations to you all, where you can all hang out and share some delicious dishes!

My first recommendation is Dishoom, their dishes are always mouthwateringly good and great to share- I love going to Dishoom for brunch but dinner is always good too! Feast on refillable chai tea, eggless akuri, vegetable samosas the list goes on! The staff are always friendly; I’ve visited the Covent Garden one and the Kings Cross both are great.

Hoppers – this is a Sri Lankan restaurant has two restaurants one in Soho and the other near my work – St Christoper Place. I have to go back there soon, my friends and I tried this restaurant last year and I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I can’t get over their Seeni Sambol and Aubergine curry, they were incredible. I always peek through the window of the one near work and the restaurant is always packed full of hungry eaters.

Mildred’s – dotted around London and has got to be one of the best vege and vegan restaurants. It’s a great place to catch up with friends and they always have comforting, and heart warming food on offer. I always find different dishes when I go as they change up their menu regularly, and I just love trying everything so this is a great place to go with your gals.

Taro is a favourite of mine. Taro is a Japenese restaurant that offers great food for a great price. We are so lucky there is one near our home. My favourite order is their salmon bento box- so good! They’ve never disappoint.

Patty & Bun’s blew us away last year their burgers were delicious! I chose the ‘Ari Gold’ Cheeseburger it was so juicy and the meat just fell apart in my mouth- their hand cut chips were good too! They also have a few plant based options that sound rather tasty so I’ll be trying those soon. I’ve been recommended to try their ‘Lambshank Redemption’ Burger by my sister so I’ll be going back in the near future!

Lastly I’d like to suggest Franca Manca. I love pizza and this definitely deserves my recommendation! Their rosemary bread- yum! Easily eaten on your own but it’s always nice to share. My favrouite pizza from Franco Manca is their organic tomato, garlic, oregano, capers, Kalamata black olives, Cantabrian anchovies & British mozzarella – juicy and the flavours are delicious!

I hope you all enjoyed my recommendations, and I hope you all have a lovely Galentines Day!

Love Wince x
