Vanilla and Macadamia Nut Butter by BNUTZ

Bianca also known as B founder of BNUTZ is a former Mental Health Nurse based in Surrey. She started her journey after being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), she learnt the importance of mental and physical wellbeing and diet, so wanted to create something that everyone could enjoy without any nasties such as preservatives, palm oil and refined sugar and its totally vegan.

B discovered the process used to make nut butters in Northern Thailand whilst she was visiting in 2015 – this was the beginning of her journey creating her magnificent nut butters! She traveled to Jamaica in 2016 to learn and refine the development of her product. After a lot of time and hard work she launched BNUTZ in 2018 from her kitchen in Guildford – her nut butters have been popular amongst the locals.

BNUTZ come in 5 different flavours:

– Vanilla & Macadamia Nut Butter

– Espresso Nut Butter

– Cacao & Hazelnut Butter

– Spicy Chilli & Lime Peanut Butter

– CBD Nut Butter

I had the pleasure of choosing the Vanilla & Macadamia Nut Butter; a delicious nutty indulgent spread. This luxurious nut butter had hints of vanilla which blended well in the creamy macadamia nuts. To create a smooth finish B added cashew nuts to give it a good consistency; this was great on toast, in smoothies, cakes and simply eating out of a jar! It’s beautifully balanced in taste, not too sweet but just sweet enough.

I love how I can incorporate it into my diet as its a great source of iron, high source of protein, dairy-free and has been keto approved – and I can enjoy it all day long without feeling guilty.

As well as the nut butter I was kindly given a nut butter cupcake recipe that I thought I’d try with my housemate! The nut butter worked like a dream in this recipe. It’s great for a treat and we altered it to fit our tastebuds by adding some raspberry flavouring – Raspberry & Vanilla White Choc Butter Cups!

I love that B has provided nutritional recipes on her blog which incorporate the nut butter, I’m always searching for recipe inspiration so this has been a great resource.

B has been working on a project that provides children aged 6 months to 5 years in South Asia with severe acute malnutrition, with sachets of nutrient rich BNUTZ. B donates 10% of a yearly profit to a charitable foundation called Mana.

I highly recommend trying this nut butter you won’t regret it if you love nuts! I’m currently ordering the Cacao & Hazelnut Butter and Espresso Nut Butter as we speak.. I couldn’t choose between the two so I have ordered both, I can’t wait to try them!
